Bharat Shiromani Award 2004

Chairman conferred with the Bharat Shiromani Award for 2004.
|
Our Chairman received the coveted Bharath Shiromani Award for 2004 from the former
Prime Minister of India, Mr. I.K. Gujral at a function in New Delhi on the 27th
of April 2005. He received the award for his outstanding contribution in the field
of Business & Diplomacy and Commitment to National Progress & Human Welfare. The
award instituted in the year 1977 by the Shiromani Institute honours men and women
from all over the world as a gesture of popular recognition of their outstanding
achievements in their chosen field of activity. Past recipients of this award include
Mother Teresa, Dalai Lama, Field Marshal Sam Manakshaw, Defence Minister Pranab
Mukherjee, HRD Minister Arjun Singh, Film Personalities, Raj Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore,
Cricketers, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar and Navjot Sidhu, Ustad Bismillah Khan among
the others. The only other NRI to receive this award is Lord Swaraj Paul.

A meet bringing together all the service franchises was held at the FourPoints Sheraton
on 14th of April.

The meet was hosted by the staff of Nikai's Regional Service Center & attended by
Nikai's authorized service franchises across the UAE. Dr.Jean gave a presentation
on the brands achievements over the past decade.
