Al Khaleej interviews Nikai
Chairman
Al Khaleej, the leading Arabic newspaper in the UAE and Gulf, spoke to Chairman
of Nikai Group, Paras Shahdadpuri for his views on a range of topics and issues,
as well as the success of Nikai and future plans. In the exclusive interview, Chairman
Shahdadpuri revealed that a feasibility study was underway to set up a world-class
factory in Dubai for the production and assembly of electronics and home appli-ances.
He noted that the Government of Dubai had encour-aged investors to start similar
ventures that contributed towards the rapid economic development of Dubai and the
UAE. Chairman Shahdadpuri also forecast a 20 percent growth in the electronics and
electrical goods sector this year.

Nikai entered Union Co-operative Society with a bang, starting with a month-long
initiative called the “Feel Cool Promotion” from 20th July till 19th August. The
promotion was also advertised in Gulf News and Al Ittihad newspapers.Nikai products

Gulf News featured Nikai in a special supplement marking the anniversary of Indian
Independence. The article on Nikai covered the rapid progress of Nikai from humble
beginnings as a general trading enterprise to a major business house engaged in
diversified activities across the world with a key focus being consumer electronics
and appliances. The article quoted Nikai Group Chairman, Paras Shahdadpuri as saying
that by vigorously pursuing its commitment to business excellence, Nikai has succeeded

with big international names, and building a vast base of over 10 million satisfied

The promotion com-menced on 10th June with consumers having to collect pack tops
to redeem prizes. Among the exciting prizes being offered are Nikai microwave ovens,
electric kettles, Discmans and radios.The promotion is being run at all supermarkets
and Smokers Centers across UAE.

To celebrate the opening of the new Al Manama hypermarket in Sharjah on 8th August,
Nikai offered special deals on a wide range of products, which are available at
the Al Manama hypermarket.
Nikai brought to the attention of its customers the opening of the new Al Manama
hypermarket through RJ mentions in “Non Stop Noon-sense” on City FM and VJ mentions
in the Nikai Chillout programme on Asianet TV and a live link through Radio Asia.
